Mother of a family denounces at least 10 cases of simple sexual abuse, mistreatment and even aggravated rape, inside the daycare center “Mi mundo de colores”, after an assistant of this place was detained by agents of the State Attorney General’s Office.

Joselyn Jaramillo, spokesperson for the Northern Zone of the State Superior Court of Justice, informed Circuito Frontera that, due to the fact that the victim is a minor, the hearing was declared private to protect her identity and avoid the disclosure of sensitive information.
He informed that in criminal case 1245/25, the educational assistant Rosa Iveth V. G. was indicted on March 8, 2025 for the crime of aggravated rape.
Also that the judge determined a period of four months for the closing of the investigation and ordered a preventive detention of one year, period in which the accused will remain under custody while the judicial diligences advance, in the State Cereso 3 in this border.
Patricia Cruz, a mother who has her daughter in this day care center, indicated that the incident was reported by the victim’s mother last Friday, February 28, activating the protocol of attention.

However, the families of other minors expressed their disagreement, as they were not immediately informed of what had happened, and even continued to take their children for several days without knowing the risk posed by the situation.
Cruz said that due to the structure of the building, it is unlikely that only one person committed the abuse without someone else knowing about it.
As well as after the case became known, several families have gone to the Prosecutor’s Office to file their complaints, and so far at least 10 investigation files have been opened related to this same daycare center.
He stated that these complaints include accusations of child abuse, simple sexual abuse and aggravated rape.
He also stated that the lack of timely information put more children at risk, as they continued to attend the daycare center without their families being alerted, so he considered that the authorities should have taken immediate measures to guarantee the safety of the children and prevent further possible aggressions.
The mother of the family also pointed out that some parents have requested a thorough review of the conditions in which the daycare operates, demanding greater vigilance and stricter protocols to prevent future cases of abuse.
They also requested that psychological and legal support be provided to the affected families, as well as some parents announced that they will continue to attend the Prosecutor’s Office to demand progress in the investigations and greater transparency in the process.
